Rashmi was the absolute best watching our (super anxious) pup Ollie! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We could tell she genuinely cared about his well-being and making sure he was having a fun time while he was away from home. She kept us updated on how Ollie was doing, his feedings, his walks, and sent us tons of photos/videos of Ollie having fun at the dog park. We’re so glad we found Rashmi and will definitely be reaching out to her again in the future. Thank you for making Ollie’s time away from home a breeze!

Our initial impressions of Rashmi were good as she was a former medical assistant at a veterinarian office. Rashmi's home also seemed a good fit for a short stay. Rashmi asked if she could take our dog to the central Fremont dog park or to coyote hills, which we advised we would prefer our dog stay at Rashmi's home and avoid bringing our dog to public areas. We explained that even when my wife and I take our dog to those same areas we have to be extra vigilant because our dog has a high prey drive and can have unpredictable behavior towards certain dogs. We offered that if Rashmi needed to go out then our dog could stay home alone for 8 hours. Rashmi also asked if there was an emergency drop off plan if needed and we provided her details of someone she could hand off our dog to. During our meet Rashmi casually offered to do some off leash training with our dog because her friend taught her how to do it. I was skeptical but did not respond much to it because it felt like more of a reassurance comment to say to help build confidence in us Rashmi knew what she was doing. Rashmi assured us that she would just be home for the weekend and we scheduled a 2 night / 3 day stay at Rashmi's home for our dog. Unfortunately throughout the booked stay I was extremely disappointed at the level of animal care expertise and lack of situational awareness displayed. Some time during the stay, Rashmi shared a picture of our dog sitting by herself on a public sidewalk with her harness and leash tied to the harness. While our dog didn't run off, we were at unease seeing our dog (who we said could bolt at any moment) be shown that she was able to stay still for a photo essentially off-leash. On the pick-up day, Rashmi texted us 4 hours before pick up time that she was currently with our dog in central San Francisco and was going to be there for the day to see a cherry blossom festival with her friends. I was shocked and upset because Rashmi did not ask for our permission prior to bringing our dog to SF nor was SF ever discussed as a possible destination she would be taking our dog. I immediately called Rashmi and asked her to return my dog back to Rashmi's home. I do not understand the thought process of someone who claims to know animals but then puts a stressed animal that she barely knows in a situation where there's an extremely high risk of incident as crazy as SF can be, let alone a highly popular public festival. Had Rashmi asked for our permission prior to bringing our dog to SF, the response would have been a resounding capitalized: NO. When we picked up our dog, Rashmi did not apologize or otherwise have anything meaningful to say. This experience has completely dismantled my trust with Rashmi and I do not recommend her to any responsible pet owner. It will be quite difficult to convince me to use Rover for the foreseeable future.
