Pet care experience
I adopted my first cat when I was in high school and my rescue dog when I was in college. They're both still with me 13 and 9 years later. It's safe to say I'm obsessed with animals and all pets--I love greeting new pups when I go on walks. I am welcoming and patient with new animal friends so they can approach me on their own terms, too. I have experience taking care of friends' pets when they're away and love my own two pets dearly. Looking forward to meeting your furry family member!

A typical day
I love to go on walks with dogs and make sure they get the mental and physical stimulation they need from outside activity. I like to have a healthy mix of following them at their own pace and encouraging more exploration. I know each pup is different--some might want to spend more time sniffing and some need to expend energy on longer walks! I am also happy to play with your pup during drop in visits--if they love fetch or other games I'm happy to initiate some play time and/or any additional treat rewards.

I currently work full-time, but I am available early in the morning and on evenings and weekends. I am flexible and can work around your pet care needs.
