Pet care experience
I have had pets my entire life... mostly dogs and hamsters! I have both dog AND cat sitting experience and have even cared for a diabetic cat, so I have experience with insulin shots. I love going out for walks, so if your pet does too, we will be best friends for sure :) I am currently in medical school at Nova Southeastern University and have a really flexible schedule with most of my classes being offered online. I can adjust my schedule to fit your pets needs! I pretty much study all day (and night lol) so I'll be with your pets all day long! I have cared for family and friends pets many times. I would be able to spend the whole day with your pets and take them out whenever is best for them! I have a very flexible schedule so I would be able to tailor that to your pets needs.

After coming home from a long weekend, it’s obvious they were very happy with Raquel, she is great! Our dogs vary in age and size and one needs special care, they definitely got it with Raquel.
We went to California for the month of July and Raquel stayed at our home with our two dogs. Our dogs are not very accepting of outsiders, but they took to Raquel right away. It gave us such peace of mind knowing that our dogs were in good hands. We’ve left them at kennels before and they have at times put on weight/had other issues, not with Raquel. Our dogs looked great and were clearly well looked after. In fact, we are pretty sure they missed her for a few days, they both moped around the house!

I find that it's important for you, your pets, and I, to have a meet and greet before even scheduling so you can be 100% confident in your decision to hire me!

I have experience dealing with animals that have diabetes so let me know if your pet has those needs and I would be glad to help! It would also be important to know if there are any habits your dog has, such as nightly treats or belly rubs so that I can stick with the routine and make sure your pet feels comfortable at all times.
A typical day
I am always down for a fun game of tug-of-war and fetch! I also enjoy swimming and if your pet does too, that would be a fun activity for the both of us.

Availability
I am available for overnight stays every night of the week. My medical school offers most classes as an online option minus a few lab courses which are 2 days a week for 2-4 hours. Other than that, I am always available to stay with your pet(s) all day!
