Hey there! My name is Raquel, a college graduate with a minor in veterinary studies and i’ve loved all animals my entire life. I dedicated a large part of my childhood and school years to volunteering with shelters and rescues so there really isn't a breed I haven’t loved working with! I come from a family of dog lovers, my sisters owning a total of 9 collectively. Family reunions are packed! (no pun intended) My best friend (a vet tech) owns a dog grooming and boarding business, which I like to help out with on occasion so I guess you can say I’m living a dog lovers dream!

I’m big on positive reinforcement and always do my best to respect an owners requests (ie: asking to crate at night, avoiding overstimulation or playing with specific toys) Dogs are always walked on leash and are never given human food.

A typical day
A typical day with me starts off with a morning walk, followed by breakfast. Though I’m a homebody at heart, I love taking advantage of nice weather and being outside on the weekends especially after the last few years we’ve had being forced to stay indoors! There’s quite a few parks and trails nearby, but I also have a car so I’m able to go just about anywhere. The beach boardwalk (weather permitting) is always a big hit (always leashed)

Availability
When I’m trusted with the responsibility of taking care of someone’s fur baby, my schedule revolves around my guest! I try to include them in everything I do and if I can’t bring them along, that thing can wait. The pets take priority.
