I have had a dog in my life in some capacity since I was 5 years old. I fostered dogs (mostly pitbulls) during college and adopted them out to wonderful families through Family Dog New Life Shelter in Portland, OR. I got my dog, Lilo, from that same shelter and have had her since March of 2016. Most of my friends have dogs of their own and I have lived with many dogs at a time. I feel comfortable with new dogs of any age, size, and personality. My dog Lilo is shy around new people and most men but absolutely loves other dogs. I have learned a lot about dog behavior and feel comfortable in most situations. I love having dogs around, I love running with them, hiking, swimming, playing, and just giving them lots of love!
