I’m an animal lover to the core. I have 1 daughter that is 4 so it’s important to me that she is taught the same love and respect I have for animals. She’s extremely gentle and calls our dogs her siblings. It is important to my family that your pet is not or has not ever been aggressive towards a child. I’ve owned dogs since childhood. My dogs are 12 and 1. I own 2 gentle natured dogs, a basset hound and a rat terrier. If you are crate training, I currently have kennels for a medium or large dog so crate travel won’t be necessary. My basset likes to be rocked and sang to so trust me when I say, I know high maintenance and I will treat your baby like my own. I do ask you send a blanket or toy from home so your pet is more comfortable in my home. Dogs associate smells so I want them to feel as comfortable and happy as possible. We have toys, beds (unless you think your pet will be more comfortable in their own bed), and all the treats their hearts can desire.
