Hello, my name is Raquel :) I have been blessed with the opportunity to sit pets for 10 years now (8 years specifically on Rover). I'm a pet lover to all types: the small, massive, the curly, fluffy, and hairless, the quiet/ shy and the spunky/ energetic.

Raquel took amazing care of my home and my three girls while we were on vacation for a week. She sent us pictures and asked questions if she had any. I loved that she was around most of the time. Really gave normalcy to my babies. Lex, Roo & Bay would love to have her over again. Highly recommend!!!

Raquel took exceptional care of our two dogs while we were away for 2 weeks. She sent us multiple pictures every day and notes about how they were doing. She kept them on their routine (feeding, playing, medicine, snuggles on the couch) and gave us peace of mind so we could enjoy our vacation. We feel so lucky to have found someone who is professional, dependable, kind and a great communicator. We’ll definitely be working with Raquel again!

Like I said, I love ALL types - don't have a breed preference. Personally I would like to know your dogs character and if there is any specific actions that the dog doesn't like (e.g. triggers, separation anxiety) and the best ways to calm them down if needed. A lot of people like to set up Meet & Greets as well to have that one on one interaction with their pet(s) and the sitter, I only ask that I get compensated for my time ($25/ Meet & Greet)
A typical day
My schedule is pretty flexible so I'm able to cater to a wide variety of needs for pets. I like to stick to the routine of your pets so they are comfortable. If they like tug of war - bring it on! Fetch - all about it. Cuddles - my favorite.

Availability
WALKS/ PLAY: I, Raquel, am now a retired collegiate athlete (Diver @ NAU) who enjoys going outdoors and having a furry friend by my side. Having a dog next to me would only give me the motivation to go the extra mile. + Walks / Potty Breaks + TIME. Able to provide care for long periods of time throughout the day if needed. I strive to never leave pets home alone longer than 4 hrs. + STRICT LEASH ON POLICY when going outside. I will take your dog(s) off leash only under the circumstance that you have a fenced front yard &/or backyard. + I DON'T allow interactions with other dogs when on walks to avoid any possible incident from happening. + AVOID dog parks for that very reason as well.
