Pet care experience
Hello, my name is Raquel. I have been a Vet Tech for the last 3 years but have had pets my entire life. I grew up with animals as big as Great Danes and as small as chihuahuas and I also have two cats and a dog of my own. I am currently going back to school to become a Veterinarian full time so I am unable to work the long hours that are required as a Vet Tech during the week. I currently live with my boyfriend, our Catahoula (Lina), and our two cats (Kenny and Neeko). I would love to get the opportunity to help you with your animal(s) as I know how hard it can be sometimes. I am very understanding with any kind of allergy complications or medication that would need to be administered as well. My goal is not just to get done whatever task you need taken care of, but to also form a relationship with you and your pet(s).

Super sweet and caring with my cats! She makes sure each one is fed and doing well. She also has no trouble medicating my grouchy girl! 10/10 would recommend for everyone.
She was able to medically treat my grouchy cat with patience and kindness despite some hissy protest. She made sure my cats were well cared for and I am so grateful that she treated them as I do. Would 10000% recommend and book with again
My dog Jasper absolutely loves Raquel! He’s usually very skittish at first with new people so I asked her to do a meet and greet before hand- I’ve never seen him warm up to someone so quickly! Raquel is also very reliable and has always kept me updated should any changes in schedule should arise. She is quick to respond and trustworthy 👍

If you have any concerns with your pet being around other people or other animals that is something I am willing to work with to get you and your pet to be more comfortable around me. Just let me know if they have anything that triggers them.
A typical day
It is always completely up to you what you would like me to do with your pet. There are many amazing places to walk in SA and there are even some great dog parks if that's your dog's thing. I will always come prepared with treats if they are allowed to have them and any other suggestions you have I will try to take on.
