My name is Ranjika and I'm a second year International Relations and Organisations student at Leiden University, Campus Den Haag. I come from India and I speak English and Bengali fluently. I also speak German at the B1 level and I can speak and understand spoken Hindi completely. Back home in Kolkata I have three pet dogs who are all rescued strays. Moreover, i used to take care of over 15 different stray dogs. One of my dogs is male (5 years old) and the other two are female (2 and 12 years old respectively). My first dog was very traumatised as a child and as a result does not take to people very well. I have administered oral medication to him and kept him restrained during vaccinations, which is a major feat considering his levels of aggression. We rescued our most recent dog in January. She was a senior dog with tick fever and an acute haemoglobin deficiency. I orally administered 6 different medicines to her twice a day for a whole month. I believe my experience with both aggressive dogs and senior dogs makes me an ideal sitter for most homes. I have also been petsitting in Den Haag for about three months now. Mainly dogs, but from time to time I house sit for my friend with 4 cats. Unfortunately, since I am a student i do not have a living situation that allows me to keep pets but i am completely open to house sitting your dogs when you need it. As a house sitter, I can water your plants and take in the mail if it is required. I can stay at your house for 2-3 days, preferably in the weekends. I can also take them for 30-45 minute walks. I am usually available in the evenings but my availability varies depending on my university schedule.
