As a kid, I trained our dog, Lady, and was her best friend for life. At the end of the nineties, I worked at the doggy day care, K9 to 5 in San Francisco (now closed) as a dog-walker and day care attendant. I handled dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes. During that time, I also did weekend pet-sitting for some of the clients there. I've always been a dog-person and speak canine–meaning I have an intuition for what dogs need or when and how to approach (or not approach) a dog I don't know. I'm a believer of reward-based training and communicating with them as a respectful, loving leader. Dogs are family members and it is an honor to treat your dog/s as if they are my own.
