Pets Deserve Our Best

Pet care experience

I provide loving care for your furry family member either throughout the day or while you are away. Backed with 15 years of pet sitting and veterinary experience I can assist your furry family member with most needs they may have. You can rest easy knowing they are being cared for the way you would care for them. Dogs, cats, exotics and more, I provide the loving care for them all. Why I love dog sitting As long as I can remember. I grew up around animals of all sorts and I have always been a animal lover and advocate. I had dogs and puppies since early childhood. There is nothing like the unconditional love you receive from a dog, it's priceless. My experience administering medication Yes. I am capable of administering oral, transdermal, and inhaliant medications. I am also trained on administering subcutaneous fluids and insulin.

Randy hosted my two chihuahuas when I was away from home on business and again when I was out-of-town for a family event. Knowing that my fur-babies were in a safe environment with a watchful eye, made traveling much less stressful for me and the pups. The only problem was that they did not want to leave Randy! (And that is a good problem have :-) They are always excited to see him. I will use his services again.

Information Randy T. would like to know about your pet

I have no breed preferences for sitting. There are many things that are important to know about a pet before sitting them. These are things I like to know. Who is the regular Veterinarian and do they have payment information on file for you? Who do you use for emergency care? Does your pet have a special diet and what is the frequency of feeding? Any daily medications or treatments? If yes, what is the frequency? Any anxiety issues or any nervous habits to monitor for? Any allergies? Any aggressive tendencies at all, even minor should be discussed. All vaccines current? Is the current Rabies Tag on pets collar? Who will be a secondary emergency contact (either with the owner but preferably someone reachable). What activities does the pet like or favorite toys?

A typical day

Here's where we'll take our walks Typically near my home, Lower Garden District/Irish Chanel, and into the Garden District/Uptown area at farthest. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Owners are encouraged to bring their dogs bed for the overnights. However, I have extra beds. They will sleep in a bedroom ajacent to mine. Time I'll spend with your dog Typically 45 minutes to 1 hour, timeline varies by owner request. Time I'll spend with your dog Typically 30 - 45 minutes. Additional visit time can be discussed prior to scheduled appointment. Extra house-sitting services Yes! I bring in your mail, packages, and news papers. I also water plants, adjust lighting in the home (if needed) and remove garbage and pet waste. Additional tasked can be discussed prior to scheduled appointment.
