We were nervous about leaving our dog with a sitter since he's relatively new to our home and is a rescue, but Randy assured us he would be fine. He was right. Hobbes seemed comfortable and happy there. It's good to know we have a trustworthy sitter when we need one.

Wagging tail - smile on my face.

I have had many dogs throughout my life mainly because they have an undeniable love for humans, which I return in kind. I have had breeds from Yorky’s, Poodles, Australian shepherd’s, Bassett Hounds (my favorite), and recently adopted 2-10 yr. old Chow-Chow mixed from the son of the owner who had passed and didn't want the animals separated. I know what it’s like to have an emergency in the family and must ...

What Randy would like to know about your dog

Temperament around other dogs. Play or not interested. Likes walks or not. Diet, allergies, medications. Indoor or outdoor dog. Wouldn't want a very large dog though as they may be more than I and my wife can handle.

When Randy watches your pet

We have a very spacious yard for the dogs to run around or just rest in the cool green grass. If desired, toss and fetching is authorized, One of our own dogs loves it and has an unending desire to do so. The other 2 are more of the lazy type and just sit and watch. Weather permitting(not to hot or raining or cold), we occasionally take the kids for a walk. We like to use harness instead of collar as it is less stressful on the animal and easier to control without fear of them slipping off. I am recently retired and can now dedicate myself full time to this mission. My wife works part time and assists me with care at home. Your dog will never spend more then 4 hrs alone in my care and rest assured, special needs will be taken care of. We generally supply treats to our dogs when we leave the house and again upon return. We believe this gives them incentive to be happy to see us when we come home. Since they don't walk the same, we usually take them separately on the strolls throughout the neighborhood, which they enjoy immensely.
