Reliable full-time pet sitter!
Pet care experience
Loving and caring for animals is truly my life and I do not take lightly the trust you put in me to make sure yours are loved and safe while you are away! I am comfortable giving meds whether oral or injection and I am also comfortable following a strict diet with any add ons/supplements etc. *For new housesitting requests, please note this will consist of check ins through the day and morning/night routines. I am unable to stay through the night but can keep their regular feeding/morning and night routines. Due to this, animals that are used to being independent or left alone are ideal. This allows them to stay in their own environment with their own routine while still having someone to check in on them and make sure they are doing well! *This is my full time job so other than occasional errands etc. I am home during the day and at night so all fur kids will rarely be left alone. This also allows me to be reliable to keep a fairly consistent schedule. I am almost always available and do not travel much. Feel free to message me for last minute bookings as well! My name is Randi and I moved here from Tucson, Arizona where I worked as a Vet/Shelter Tech at my local county animal shelter. I currently have my Bachelors in Veterinary Science and I have experience with dogs/cats, rabbits and some other exotics (I worked at PetSmart for a short period of time in the animal care unit). I am comfortable and used to administering medications and preparing any type of specific or unique diet for your furry baby! ***Dogs must be good around small dogs and must be kennel trained if they are unable to be left alone without issue. Please disclose any information that would be needed in order for me to see if I would be a good fit for them. *** I have experience with fractious dogs and cats as the shelter world is full of them, and can also administer medications. I will take however long is necessary to make sure your fur kids are comfortable around me and are well taken care of. If you feel I would be a good fit for you, please feel free to message me and schedule a meet and greet!
Reviews
Daily updates and a happy puppy. What more could you want? We left our very playful puppy with Randi for almost one week. With those daily updates we could tell Sundae was being well cared for. It was a worry free experience.
Randi did a great job with Berkeley. Was able to accommodate his stay with short notice, and sent me plenty of pictures and updates! Will definitely use her services again.
Randi is the best! She takes such good care of our dog and always keeps us updated by sending pics and messages. Our dog is always clean when we pick him up and we always feel at ease knowing we’ve left him in good hands!
Randi did an excellent job with our very timid Golden Retriever. She provided us with updates and pictures for each day along with a little note about his day. Most previous stays with other people, Murphy will not eat but he must have felt very comfortable with Randi as he had no issues and ate well. Stressful enough leaving your anxious dog and worrying how they will do while you are away but now knowing he will be well taken care of and loved on just like if he were home relieves our anxiety. Highly recommend Randi and will continue to use her services in the future

I have a fenced in yard and also gates/kennels available inside my home if needed. I have small dogs who typically stay in their own room during boardings, but I do slow introductions to make sure everyone acclimates without issue. I also have a cat that can be confined to her own room as well if needed but is desensitized to dogs of all energy levels and sizes. If separation for anyone is needed I can easily accommodate that as long as they are not destructive when left unattended (i.e. if your dog gets overwhelmed easily or requires additional decompression time or you just prefer it).

Information Randi L. would like to know about your pet
I do have a small dog in the house who can easily be separated if need be, but would not feel comfortable housing a dog with a prey drive towards small animals or who is very high energy. If the dog cannot be left alone and is destructive at all they will need to be crate trained. Dogs will need to be housebroken (they will have access to frequent potty breaks). My background consists of caring for dogs of all sizes and needs for many years and my goal is for you and your pups to be confident and comfortable with having me care for them!
A typical day
Typically my household is more laid back so calmer dogs would work best in my home. I can provide adequate exercise as well and every dog has however much time they need to decompress and become comfortable in my house (I don't push attention or overstimulate and let them open up on their own). If you have any special requests please feel free to let me know!

Availability
I am pretty flexible with accommodations and have open availability for the most part. I am typically home but may need to run short errands every now and then and leave the house. For the most part if I am not home someone else will be so they will rarely be left alone.
