Hi there! My name is Raine, I graduated from Middlebury college in Vermont (with a BA in English and Art) and grew up in Camden, ME. I currently live on my boat with my partner and dog, Dipper. I have had dogs my whole life and love taking care of them. I’m very responsible, thorough, and meticulously tidy with any work I do and would love to help you out! My professional experience ranges from restaurants and farming to boats, art, and child care, feel free to ask me about any and all of it. In my free time, I enjoy exercising outdoors (especially alongside a furry friend) and making art. I’m quite flexible and would love to work around any and all needs you have. I miss my dogs a lot, please consider me for taking care of yours!

Raine is wonderful with dogs of all types and sizes. She is watchful and alert, playful and structured. She is patient and caring for dogs, as she interacts with them in a friendly manner with eye contact, lots of pets and even-toned verbal communication. I have left my dog with her alone many times and they both always have a great time!

Please let me know of any special needs I can accommodate. My dog is leash reactive so I have experience working with reactive dogs (he’s improved a lot since we adopted him). Knowing behavioral and medical needs is a must
A typical day
I take my own dog on at least two 30+ minute walks per day and make sure to do some training as well. I love bringing pups fenced in spaces where they can run, we can do some training, or they just trot around and sniff as they please.
