I have lived with animals my whole life, growing up in a home of around 20+ starting off my love and exposure from the get-go. Since childhood I have learned the all encompassing requirements of animal care and have carried on this experience and wisdom into my own pet ownership--quality of life is of utmost importance to me. I have also worked several jobs that evolve solely around animal care, including work at two doggie-daycares, at one bathing facility, and I have dedicated more than five years to a small, women-run, ethical dairy where I have helped raise a heard of 80+ water buffalos. I know a lot about dog breeds (their characteristics, physical and social needs, common health problems, etc.), am skilled at administering medications, and have been certified in dog CPR and First Aide since 2016. I am also a cat person, have two of my own, am very savvy with birds, fish, the like. I pay attention to each animal and react to what they are telling me they need. I am understanding, respectful and responsive to each individual's needs. I can be full-time snuggler, hold respectful distance with attention to needs, company to hiking companion--whatever your little (or big) one needs. I appreciate each animal for its individuality and can meet them on their level very comfortably.
