I’ve been pet sitting for as long as I can remember. I have experience with all kinds of animals, from farm animals to indoor pets. I worked at a wolf rescue for two years so I definitely have experience working with animals of all different types of temperaments. I am Red Cross Animal First Aid certified. I love all animals and treat everyone’s fur babies as my own! I love taking them for walks, playing with them, even occasionally napping with them. I have experience with animals with special needs, senior animals, and untrained little babies (my favorite). Rest assured your pets will be well taken care of with me! I took a break from Rover for a but while I was working extensive hours at a veterinary clinic in California. I have since moved to Hawaii and wanted to start again! I live in an apartment with my 28 lb terrier. She’s very sweet and high energy and absolutely adores other dogs. We are walking distance to a dog park that we frequently visit. I am open to boarding in my apartment for the right animals, it’s a limited space so I try to avoid boarding animals if they’re not used to apartment living as to not add extra stress on them.

Rain was the BEST dog sitter we’ve ever had—she took fantastic care of our two golden retrievers (including walks, beach trips, dog park visits, etc.), was highly communicative, is exceptionally knowledgeable on animal care, and is genuinely a wonderful person. We had no concerns whatsoever about how our dogs were doing while in her care—maybe the only issue is that our dogs probably like Rain more than us now. 😂
Rain's great. Constant timely communication, and lots of pictures of my pup playing around. Lots of great, loving care from her, and Truffles definitely enjoyed his stay. Definitely recommend her! Thank you for taking care of Truffles over the week.
Rain was so great, we had to travel last minute and she was quick to respond and turned out to be someone we'll definitely call again to watch our dog! Tsuga was well taken care of and I know he got a lot of love while we were away. 10/10 would hire for dog-sitting again!

When house sitting I do not need to leave for extended periods of time except for overnight shifts and my dog stays with my boyfriend when I am sitting.

A typical day
I enjoy going for walks around the neighborhood. I’ll take the dogs to the beach if you are comfortable with that. I have an active lifestyle so I typically enjoy going on hikes and I love bringing dogs with me. Overall, your dog can expect to receive all the love and attention you give it! I want them to feel as if they are right at home.

I’m currently working 3 nights a week. They vary every week so please just let me know when you are needing services and we will discuss my availability on a case to case basis. I work at a veterinary clinic, I can bring your pet to work with me if needed.
