My family has had several dogs over the years. Our first dog (her name was Angel) was a service dog we raised from 2 months to 1.5 years old. We taught her basic commands before she went to advanced training to help someone (e.g., a person in a wheelchair) who needed her support. After our first dog, we wanted another one and got Mardi, an English golden. She went through a similar assistance dog program and ended up becoming a breeder for the program. After she had her puppies, they joined the program as well, and she became an ambassador meaning we got to keep her! We also got a second dog, a German shepherd named Nova, as our own pet. I love dogs, and I've been raising and taking care of them since elementary school! Whenever I go back home to visit my parents I love to take my dogs on walks and play with them! I don't have the schedule during the workweek to have my own dog, but I would be happy to take care of your pets over the weekends! I'm free Friday evenings to Sunday evenings. I prefer dog boarding but am open to house sitting and drop ins as well! I love walking around outside on the weekends and there's plenty of space downtown where I live to walk dogs! My apartment building is very dog friendly as well!
