Pet care experience
I began volunteering and working with shelter dogs at a young age; feeding, walking, and providing enrichment as well as other miscellaneous tasks. I also have a few years of experience working with reptiles at a sanctuary. I’ve had three dogs over the years since puppyhood, a Pit bull (Billy) and a Whippet (Cody) and I currently have a Goldendoodle (Wyatt). I work as a dog trainer, with several years of experience. I’ve gained many skills throughout the years including dog handling, dog training, and dog nutrition. I am comfortable with all dog breeds and have experience with all sizes, ages and most temperaments. I am Pet CPR and First Aid Certified. I truly love and am committed to invest time and attention with each dog…and cat as if they were my own.

Rahell dropped in to take care of my cat while I was away for a few days. She was great at getting my shy cat to become more comfortable with her, and she sent very clear updates and pictures that left me confident my cat was doing well. I have no breed restrictions. I take in all breeds, sizes, ages, and most temperaments. As a dog trainer I am comfortable and know how to interact and handle energetic, shy, reactive, or aggressive dogs. I would like to know the personality and temperament of a dog beforehand so I know what to expect.
A typical day
I love the outdoors. My favorite walks are at parks, wooded areas and trails. A walk through the city and within the neighborhood are enjoyable as well. During a stay I can provide different activities from one on one attention, play, fetch, and anything else your dog enjoys even keeping up with training behaviors and commands which can be fun for a dog.

I work long shifts but I only work 3 days a week which allows me more time in the week, to watch over your dog or cat and provide enrichment to keep them entertained and active!
