Pet care experience
My whole life I have been around dogs whether as an owner, a trusted sitter, or random stranger asking to play with a dog! I have experience caring for all size dogs but especially large to extra large dogs (Rottweilers, Pitbulls, Shepards, Poodles, etc.). I really enjoy spending time outside with dogs but also really like relaxing inside. Some dogs like to watch animal shows on TV and I love them too! I also cared for a friends dog who was going through chemotherapy in New York City. The dog, his name is Aidinn (he made a full recovery!) needed medication twice a day, special meals, walks about 5 times a day, and minimal sun exposure. We had a great time despite all of the restrictions.

Tarah took fantastic care of our elderly cat, energetic dog, and our home. We had such peace of mind on our trip, knowing our pets were well cared for. When our flights got delayed, Tarah was flexible, she and very communicative throughout the whole process. We highly recommend her!

It is very important to me to understand a pets temperament ahead of any service. This is why I do not accept any booking requests without a meet and greet! This is to make sure your pet and I are a good fit and to minimize problems once you’re gone. It’s also important to disclose any special needs or medications I will be required to give during the meet and greet.
A typical day
It all depends on the dogs temperament! We can go on scenic walks, to the dog park, or play fetch! All doggos get belly rubs, hugs and forehead pets!

Availability
Caring for furry companions takes the majority of my time and is my primary job. However, I do work as a barista part-time about 3/4 days a week.
