Pet care experience
As a kid, I grew up surrounded by animals: horses, cats and dogs. I have always loved animals and have spent most of my life around them. This has taught me how to take the best care of dogs, from training them to entertaining them. I have Dog sitted several times in the past from periods ranging from 24h to 2 weeks. I have experience with puppies, old dogs, small, big, and many different breeds.

Rafaelle was great with Dougal and created a close bond with with him straight away. He made instant friend with Rafaelle Flat mate and her little dog Pumpkin, which is funny to see due to the size difference. I couldn't have ask a better person to look after Dougal and we will 100% use her again and I know I big hair beer will look forward to the reunion.
So I secured the services of Rafaelle to house sit 3 dogs for a week. All instructions and suggestions followed, they got more walks than they ever do with me, and I think they were disappointed to see her go! One instance of one of the dogs injuring himself (minor) was dealt with as I would have wished and I was notified at an early stage. I returned to a clean house, washed bed linen, a clean lawn and 3 very happy pooches. Recommended (I'd certainly request her services again)
Fantastic from beginning to end - great communication, really easy to arrange, the dogs (and cats!) were so happy and relaxed in Raf's company.
Rafaelle is an exceptional carer for dogs, my large, normally quite aloof German Shepherd Dog took to her straight away the first time they met. She is flexible and helpful with her knowledge of animal behaviour and I would not hesitate recommending her to anyone.

It is important for me to know about your dog's habits and how they interact with other people and animals. They're typical behaviour, if anything makes them anxious or worried, or if they love to do anything in particular. If they are taking any medication I can administer it.
A typical day
I love to go on walks in the different parks around Guildford, and as an animal scientist I strongly believe in mental stimulation through regular play and a little bit of training. I try and make the walks at least 1h long, unless your dog has different needs.

Availability
I am a Phd student, working remotely most of the week. Being fully in charge of my schedule gives me a lot of flexibility, and allows me to fit many activities into my day to care for your pets, including long, frequent walks, playtimes, and training sessions.
