Pet care experience
Our pup Juno was adopted from San Francisco in 2019, and it took her a long time to build trust with anyone. She went from being timid to loving attention from people after lots of adjusting and training. When I saw the progress in my own pupper, I realized that it is important to give the dog extra space and time to adjust to a new environment, especially in a new home that will temporarily take care of the pupper. Our experience with our rescue will make sure your flurry friend is comfortable in a new environment while having my calm and welcoming lab around. In the meanwhile, we have also done house sitting for neighbors’ pups while they are away. We make sure the pups maintain their routines while their parents were away and we love sending a lot of updates to make sure the parents know that their pups are doing great.

We go on long walks every morning, potty break at our fenced yard during the day, and after work we love to go to the park and roll around in the grass :) we love exploring your dog’s favourite hiking trails, parks, and their favourite things to do! So let us know where we should take them while they are here! When we are working, we let the pups to play or nap around us. This allows us to keep an eye on the pups at all times and snuggle/rub them when we are taking a break. We are very responsive and we love sending some pictures during your pupper’s stay!

Please let us know if your dogs have any special needs! We have a lot of experience of taking care of senior dogs ( we used to help out a friend who recuses senior dogs and work at the shelter). We would appreciate knowing what a typical day look like for your pup so we know how to best care for them while they are with us! Thank you so much for sharing any details and heads up about your pup!
A typical day
We usually start our day with a potty break in our yard and then head out for a mile long walk! During the walk, we let the pups take their time sniffing because we believe sniffing for them is like us reading the New York Times. We will come back home for breakfast and let the pups take their midday naps. The pups sometimes like to play with their toys after digesting the food, and we have a lot of options here! We like to do another long walk in the afternoon at different parks and say hi to other dogs on the walk as well. We also love to play fetch as well!

Availability
My partner and I both work from home at the moment. We take the pups out first thing in the morning and then we make sure they get their potty breaks every another hour in our small yard. Our schedule is very flexible for drop offs and pick ups as well! We are also very outdoorsy and love to explore! So we love to hike, explore different parks, and jog on the weekends!
