I love animals, I can't stand to see them hurt or mistreated. They depend on us for everything. I had a pure-bred Border Collie for 12 years. She had some special needs, so I know how to handle and finicky pup. I'm in school at the moment but I generally have at least 2 hours between each class to take care of the doggos. My weekends are completely open. I wanted to be a veterinarian but I couldn't get past the idea that I would have to put down perfectly healthy animals who had become...inconvenient. Compassion, heart, truly caring about the animals instead of just doing the job is something I think is very important. They're our friends, we should treat them as such, not as prisoners lol.
