Hello! My name is Rae and I am currently in my last year of grad school. I've had family dogs in my home since I was 11, but I've loved them all my life. My very own pups are a spunky chihuahua/terrier mix named Scruffy and a goofy Maltipoo named Rufus! They go everywhere with me, even on vacation. We also love going to the dog park and the dog beach whenever we get the chance! In addition to spending time with my own pups, I've worked at a doggie daycare in the Bay Area as well as a board and train camp here in San Diego. I’ve gotten to meet many different dog breeds from big to small as well as so many ages from puppies to seniors. But most importantly I learned about the safety and the wellness of every dog. Rae is an excellent dog sitter, and our dog really likes her! She not only takes great care of our fir baby, she sends us cute pictures and videos,frequently. Rae also returns our home in as good if not better condition than we turned it over to her. But best of all is the peace of mind we have when Rae sits our beloved Baloo. Thank you, Rae!!
Rae took on our 106 pound dog who became ill the day we left for our grandson’s graduation! She not only took excellent care of him, she nursed him to health and kept us updated on his progress! We could not have asked for a better, more competent, caring sitter for our fur baby! We are very pleased and would highly recommend Rae!! We are going to Vegas in July, and happily, Rae agreed to watch Baloo again!
Rae was amazing!!! My puppy had so much fun with her. She sent me pictures every day and kept me in the loop with everything. Highly recommend!
We love Rae! She did a fantastic job taking care of our old dog who needs company and attention more than he does walks anymore. She sent us daily photos and videos of our dog. He was clearly happy and well taken care of. Best of all she arranged play dates with her own dogs so that our dog could socialize at home. I suspect he wants us to go away again so he can spend more time with Rae ?

In order to be safe and have the most fun on our stays together, first I'd definitely like to know all about your pup's socialization. Is he/she friendly with other dogs? Or more of a people person? It’s also important they get along with their roomies for their staycation: Scruffy & Rufus. Also, I ask if you could let me know of any medical conditions, current medications or allergy information before a stay, in addition to whether or not your pup is up to date on shots. Just so I can better attend to your pup's health concerns. Finally, it is very useful for me to know the commands you use for your pup. Although most commands are pretty basic, I have met a few dogs who respond to different commands. Knowing these ahead of time will help me ensure your pup's safety on walks or around the house.
A typical day
I'll care for your pup like my very own which means walks in the morning and evening and lots of love during the day. Or if your dog is not a fan of the outdoors we can spend time cuddling on the couch. Whatever makes your dog happy is exactly what we'll do while you're away!
