I’m a Marine vet who loves fur babies. As the founder of a tech startup, I wanted a way to spend less time behind my screen & more time with pups. Rover helps me get plenty of time with cats and dogs, while getting the excercise and salary my startup cannot yet provide! 🐶 I grew up taking care of senior special needs dogs. Although she recently passed, my pup was my world. She was my startup mascot, travel buddy, and best friend. I know how much your pet means to you and your family. When they are with me I consider them family too. 👩‍⚕️ Dogs are such a passion that we have 2 vet techs in our family. Van Gogh sums up the importance of pet ownership nicely: “If you don't have a dog--at least one--there is not necessarily anything wrong with you, but there may be something wrong with your life.” 🚀 Outside the world of pets I’m a data scientist and web designer who mentors early-stage startup founders based in NYC/DC. And of course I’m a startup founder/CEO raising funds for my tech company, so if you know anyone looking for their next big investment...😉 💻 I run a tech company online and typically work from home. I use Rover to get exercise and spend more time with wonderful dogs while working out of their spaces for longer visits. For dog sitting requests I am happy to schedule 3 or 4 longer drop-in visits in lieu of sleeping over should you prefer the convenience of less cleanup and more quality time. Since my pup recently passed I like to start each day with dog visits and cuddles! 🎥 Since I am laptop bound, for longer stays (as desired) my cofounder and I can try to work out if your home so your pup is not alone. Please let me know of any cameras / recording devices in your homes so I can respect my clients’ privacy!
