Hi, there! I’m Rachelle, a 31 year old dog and cat mom living in Royal Oak, Michigan. About five years ago my husband and I moved to Miami for his job. Before that we had always been close to family who I trusted to watch our dog Lily while I worked. Once we moved I was set to start a new job, but was weary of Lily being left alone. To combat those feelings, I decided to set up a nest cam in our living room to keep an eye on her while I worked. She cried the entire time; I quit my job the next day. It was the best decision I’ve ever made. For the next four years Lily was always by my side, rarely away from her for more than two hours. There is now no question that for as long as I have pets, I will always be there for them. I cherished every moment I got to spend with Lily through her final years. I hope to be able to share that same love with your pets. My husband and I have since welcomed Grumhilda, an old English bulldog, Sofie, a shih-tzu mix, and stirling, a black cat I rescued from oncoming traffic. Pretty much everything I do throughout the day revolves around them and I feel so privileged to have the option to stay home with them. Your pets give you a lifetime of unconditional love; I will always do whatever I can to show them how thankful I am for that gift. I am a firm believer that there is no such thing as too many pictures of your pets. I take a borderline obscene number of photos and videos on every visit. I then create a personalized google photo album to share with the owner so they can every see every single image I took. I do this because I know how appreciative I would be if someone offered that to me and my pets and assume there are others who feel similarly.
