About this sitter: Hello! My name is Rachelle and I want to be your next pet sitter or dog walker. I go to your home and take care of your baby just like you do! I have over 15 years experience in the veterinary field, as a pet sitter and as a veterinary technician. I can give oral and injectable medications (including insulin) and fluid therapy. I am qualified, responsible and dependable. I have worked with so many types of animals and am always excited to meet new clients. I have worked with reptiles, birds, pot bellied pigs, chickens, rats, rabbits, fish and of course dogs and cats. I am currently available to do morning or evening walks and visits, overnight stays in your home. I believe your pets are the most comfortable in your home and in the environment they are used to. Please note that weeks of holidays do incur an addition fee. I hope you will consider speaking to me in the near future. Why I love dog sitting I have been an animal lover my entire life! I have always been interested in animal care and health and have worked in the industry for a long time. I started while I was still in high school pet and house sitting and have been doing it ever since. My experience administering medication I can administer all medications including pills, liquids, injectibles, and transdermals.

Rachelle IS THE BEST! We were fortunate to find Rachelle a few years ago and she has been caring for our pets ever since. She first started sitting for our very senior cat and was great with a senior pet’s needs. After our senior girl passed we adopted a 6 month old kitten who immediately bonded with Rachelle as well. Rachelle is always flexible with our/her schedule and is a great communicator. She sends a text with pictures update each visit and somehow manages to ALWAYS get the best pictures of our cat! We’ve had crazy household things come up while we were away, like heat going out and a litter robot sensor getting clogged, and Rachelle has jumped into action taken care of everything, all the while still delivering outstanding care for our pet. It’s hard enough to leave your pets when you are traveling, but we never worry about the love, attention and care our cat is getting when Rachelle is watching her!
Rachelle is my hero. I feel lucky ro have booked her several times to care for my two cats when I have been out of town, and even helped out when I was stuck. Thanks, Rachelle!!!

I like to meet all the animals I take care of at least once before I come for a stay, if possible. I like the opportunity to discover their personalities and see how they normally act at home. I want to be sure I can tell if something is wrong while they are under my care. I have no breed preferences at all.
A typical day
I love to plan adventures for my furry friends! We can walk around the neighborhood, head to a park or trail or whatever you are comfortable with. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Where do your dogs sleep when you are home? I can make arrangements based on their normal situation. Time I'll spend with your dog It varies by each pet and whether we are doing a check in, a walk or I am visiting and staying overnight. If I am staying overnight at your home, your pet will get a minimum amount of 12 hours of time spent with them. Overnights include the overnight stay and any mid-day visits are additional. If I am visiting for walks, play time or potty breaks the average time spent will be around 30-40 minutes. Extra house-sitting services: Whenever I am petsitting I always collect the mail and check on the home. If asked, I will water any plants or other small favors the homeowners request.
