I grew up always having a family dog. Before moving to NYC, any time my parents or friends went out of town they would ask me to dog-sit. My parent's dog back home, Panda is my best friend (pictured in profile.) She's five now, and I took care of her consistently up until the time I moved here. From getting her at 5 weeks old and potty training to when she was spayed, I've covered pretty much every avenue. She is also a bit high maintenance, as she's an aussie so I'm used to the high energy, and special diets. Panda also has seizures and must be administered medication twice daily, which I have done in a timely manner each time I was responsible for caring for her. Aside from Panda, I've also taken care of a family friend's dog, a chihuahua mix. He is only one year old, so requires a lot of attention and playtime. I've taken care of him on several occasions for a few days at a time, and the dog parents were always more than pleased. I've walked and watched countless other dogs through the years, of various sizes including Australian cattle dogs, spitz, jack Russells, and boxers. I've never met a dog that I don't get along with, and if I'm being honest I tend to smile more at dogs I pass on the street than I do the people.. Lol. I miss my dog a ton since I couldn't bring her to the city with me, so I would love to spend time with your precious pups! :)
