My husband and I live in Oak Forest with our two fur babies Rusty the Aussie age 6 and Luna the Lab age 2. We also have Oliver the little orange tabby cat who thinks he's a dog. He try's to cuddle with our dogs and follows them around which is fun to watch but he has his own room to be separated from our canine visitors if necessary (please advise us of your pups temperament towards cats). My job allows me to work and stay at home full-time and my Husband works from home daily when we have guests so we can best take care of my to precious pups and give them the attention they deserve. I am thankful to be able to turn my house into a home away from home for your babies. We want to make them as comfortable as possible while they are away from home by keeping them occupied and loved. I have experience working with pets from my own, sitting for the past 9 years, and volunteering at the Humane Society. I am okay with cats and dogs, large and multiple animals. We do it all: feed twice a day, daily walks, pet, play, and love! Our backyard is huge and is shady and perfect for fetch and frisbee throws. Complimentary bath for overnight guests if desired. Due to the summer's increased demand for traveling, Please be aware that we frequently host more than one family's dog at a time, and we are comfortable separating during the stay if necessary. I like to let everyone know up front. Please let me know if you are uncomfortable with this as your stay may overlap another. Thanks for your consideration. Rachele was wonderful! She provided us daily updates and pictures of how our puppy was doing! We were a little worried to leave her being so young, but would trust Rachele to keep her any time in the future! She just seemed to have a great time with the other dogs!
Rachele was the best dogsitter I have EVER had. EVER. My dog didn't want to come home afterwards...literally when we got home, he didn't want to get out of the car. Their house is basically like doggy heaven. There was a huge back yard for the dogs to run and play in. There are several dog beds all over the house. They keep there house nice and cool inside to shield from the summer heat. They went on dog walks and to the dog park and I got pictures/videos everyday. My baby is NOT an easy dog to care for. He's almost 10 years old with several health impairments. They took on taking care of him and giving him his medications (both oral and topical) without batting an eye! This was a great environment for an old deaf dog with health issues. When I picked him up, he looked so happy and like a puppy again. I will ALWAYS book with Rachele in the future.
My Great Dane mix LOVED her stay. She went on walks and had lots of play time with Rachele's fur babies. I received updates and photos of her in different activities throughout the day. I highly recommend Rachel and will definitely contact her again.
Rachele was wonderful! It was like my girl was part of the family. She had a blast and if she could talk, I’m sure she’d ask if she could go back soon. Highly recommend!

A typical day
Every morning my husband and me take Rusty and Luna for a morning walk around Mangum Manor Park and along the sidewalks in our neighborhood. I stay home with the dogs and take them out for frequent potty breaks and to play fetch in our backyard. We make nightly visits to the T.C. Jester Dog Park or a walk and baths follow before dinner. We don't have children so as you can see, they are our children.
