Currently living in Belle Haven, Alexandria, Virginia! I grew up on a farm in Annapolis with multiple animals and have always had furry friends in my life. I have rescued all of my past and current dogs and foster dogs for a local rescue organization when I don’t have clients. I’ve been in pet care professionally since 2014 and love it! I am a nurse and have experience with both human and pet medical needs. Each pet is different and may require a different level of care or attention to make them (and you!) comfortable. I am committed to ensuring that every pet I care for is happy, comfortable, and very well taken care of. I am very flexible and will work with you and what you need. I also love taking photos and always ensure that I send you a wonderful picture during and/or after the service :) **At this time for house-sitting, I may not be able to commit to staying overnight. Safety, trust, & environment We have a service agreement and additional insurance coverage through our business to ensure everyone is protected and your needs and expectations are met. We’re happy to provide daily updates and meet with you beforehand so that comfort and trust is established and kept before and during the service. We also have wonderful people we work with through our business that are available for coverage in emergency situations which ensures you aren’t left in the lurch if something happens or if we’re booked.

I am happy to care for any breed. Before caring for your pet, I generally would like to know medical issues, allergies, feeding schedule, potty schedule, any behavioral things to watch for or triggers, how they get along with other dogs, an emergency contact, and anything you feel is important for me to know. Additional info/fees/services: Generally, because I teach courses via zoom throughout the week drop offs and pick ups ideally are before 8:30am or after 4:30pm however I am happy to arrange for alternative starts/ends and just need to know in advance. I aim for a high level of flexibility and service; I want to be able to work with you to offer what you need. If something changes in your trip or day, just let me know and we will work it out. Please also note, for overnight services, end of service after 2pm incurs an additional fee. That may be waived if the beginning of service on the first day is later or at my discretion. Day care services that are greater than 10 hours may also incur an additional fee. If you need me to grab some more food or anything else for your pet, I am more than happy to - you can order for pick up at the nearby pet store or let me know what is needed and send funds via one of the payment platforms. I am happy to administer routine medication for your pet at no additional cost and am comfortable do so orally and via injection. Finally! If you would like your pet to be the only one we care for during their stay or need 24/7 1:1 care for an overnight service, we are happy to arrange that if possible and block off the calendar for additional day or night bookings. This may mean a higher rate and can be discussed before the service starts. Communication is key! Whatever you need, whatever expectations you have, please let me know so I can adjust or meet them. I’m happy to meet you and your pet beforehand at no cost wherever you prefer.
A typical day
We live near several parks and enjoy exploring them and spending a lot of time outside when weather permits it. My focus is lots of fun, play, and love so that your furball will go home tired and happy and wanting to come back for more the next time you need our services!
