I've grown up around dogs my entire life and have experience working with a variety of breeds and temperaments. I'm very comfortable working with dogs that experience leash reactivity towards other dogs and can work to ensure your dog has a positive experience while we're together. I love to take dogs on long walks and trips to go out exploring. I will always come bearing gifts (lots and lots of doggy treats!) and am invested in ensuring any dietary restrictions are followed. Please let me know if you would be open to welcoming my own pup during house sits - he's wonderful with other dogs and can't wait to make lots of new friends! I also love spending time with cat clients and will give your kitty some extra love while you're away.

Please let me know your rules in your home (is your dog allowed on the furniture? Do they have a specific space for when nobody is home if they are not crate trained?) and I'll be sure to follow them as if you were home in order to maintain consistency with expectations. I don't allow dogs to greet other dogs while on leash to prevent them from being put in an uncomfortable situation.

A typical day
I love taking dogs for walks on trails and playing out in the yard. I also engage dogs in indoor training and play in order to provide mental stimulation when the weather is less cooperative. If your dog is more relaxed and less active, I'm sure they'll have a great time sleeping on the couch while I do homework or watch Netflix!

I am completing an internship for my MSW and attending evening classes. I have some flexibility during the semester and will have a pretty open schedule during the summer.
