Experienced and pet loving family!
Pet care experience
My family has bred dogs my entire life and I have experience handling dogs of all ages. Especially including younger and active dogs and breeds that require more play and exercise than some older, more quiet dogs..but we love those relaxed babies just as much! I love doggy play dates and dog sitting for our friends, family, and coworkers. Experience in obedience training as well, so I am able to handle behavioral needs that may arise. Additional experience with larger dog breeds, so size is not an issue. In the La Crosse area working full time with a flexible schedule. Due to COVID-19, I am working at home full time. This allows me to be extremely flexible to letting guests out, feeding, and play time. May be able to make exceptions based on the individual request or situation. Responsible and pay attention to detail. Understanding of unique needs for each pet and family and have knowledge of pet health and care. Willing to work with unique needs and schedules also. I am excited you get to know your pet!

Information Rachel W. would like to know about your pet
I will ask for a basic routine so I can help while pet feel comfortable while you are away, and to help ease the transition into a new environment. If the pet is staying with me, I would request a food dish, what they’re eating and how often, and crate if they’re used to being in one (I have on plastic and one wire create on hand), and maybe their favorite toy or a blanket that smells like home if they have any special attachments. However, we have all sorts of stuffed toys, bones (no real animal or rawhide), balls, and dog puzzles here!
A typical day
I enjoy taking walks around town, hikes, park/yard play, and swimming if the pet is capable and the owner is comfortable with each activity.
