About me: I had dogs since I was 15. I had a Yorkie growing up (she's in doggie heaven now) and now a 16 lb Shih Tzu, Gambit, that we (husband and I) adopted about 2.5 years ago. I volunteer for a nonprofit, no kill dog rescue organization every available weekend I have. I like spending time with Gambit on weekends as much as possible. I have long hours at work, so I try to spend quality time with Gambit on the weekends. About Gambit: He's the king of our apartment. He loves other dogs his size and is looking for some new friends. We have about 35 toys for Gambit, and he's more than happy to share! About our apartment: We live in a spacious (for NYC) one bedroom apartment in Financial District. We allow dogs on all of our furniture. We have three dog beds and one human bed in our apartment, so beds are never lacking! When your dog stays with us: Gambit gets walked 3 times (~20 minutes each walk) a day and his doggy friend will get the same number of walks. We're home most of the time on the weekends and love spending time with our little Gambit, so your dog will have unlimited canine companionship and lots of human companionship. We love holding and belly rubbing dogs, so your pup will be pampered! Due to our work schedules, we're only able to dog sit on weekends.
