Pet care experience
I've been taking care of dogs since I was a little girl. I have had experience of dogs of all kinds since I was at daycare where my first friend was the dog there! My love for animals started at a young age, and one of my first few words was "dog." I got my first dog when I was I was almost 10 years old and have had experience with dogs since then. I currently have a dog back home that I helped to house train and train in general. I have also had experience with dog-sitting in my neighborhood as well as for family friends. I have been relied on to walk, feed, play with, give medication to, and bathe pets. I have experience with many different sizes and breeds of dogs with various levels of house training, ages, health concerns, diets, and levels of activity.

Rachel did a great job for us and our dog. She is responsible, easy to communicate with and she loves dogs. It was very nice to be able to go on vacation and not have to worry about our pet being unhappy. We highly recommend Rachel!
Rachel was amazing! She stayed at our place with our two high energy dogs, and did an amazing job with them. Lots of walks, attention, and play time was given, along with constant updates that put us at ease throughout the whole stay. Rachel took great care of our home while she was here, and treated it as if it was her own place. She definitely went above and beyond! Will definitely be requesting Rachel again, our dogs have absolutely loved the time they spent with Rachel, as evidenced by how relaxed and happy they were when we got back from our trip.
This was my first time using Rover. I got Rachel V’’s contact info through my daughter and I was absolutely pleased with the care she gave our cat! I really appreciated all the photos and detailed information about her visits. I will definitely be using Rachel again!!

I will follow all instructions left by a dog's family. Although I know how to interact with my dog, I know it is important to respect how other dog owner's want their dog to be cared for. I will always make sure the dog is on a leash, within a fence, or any other preferences by their owner, which I know varies for each pet or owner. I allow dogs to warm up to me in order to not push them too far out of their comfort zone with new people. Additionally, I will do my best to make sure the dog is comfortable with me and knows I will take care of them. Given that there is so much that goes into caring for your furry friends, I do require a meet and greet before care to ensure the best experience for everyone involved! :)

I would like to know any medical or physical conditions a dog may have, so that I can ensure that they get the best possible care. I will do my absolute best to make sure that they are well taken care of, no matter what the circumstances may be. Knowing any important medical information is crucial to giving your pet the care they deserve! I also would like to get an idea of their schedule to ensure that I can give your pets the time they need and deserve!
A typical day
I will make sure to accommodate to what a dog owner thinks is best for their dog. Dogs are like family, so I know how important their care is. For my dog, we usually go on a longer walk at least once a day, and possible another shorter walk if she is particularly restless. I also love to play fetch with dogs and their favorite toys.

Availability
I miss my pup back home so much and love getting to hangout with your furry family members! :) I am a current college student and my classes are spaced out enough that I can work around a dog's schedule in order to accommodate for what they prefer and are used to. I am involved on campus, but can work around my schedule for the most part, with the only exception being when I am at class and/or work. While my class schedule is not flexible, my work schedule has some flexibility if need be for housesitting **with advance notice as I would have to trade shifts**.
