Long story short, five stars is not enough to rate how highly we think of Rachel's care for our dog. We were on a 10-day excursion to South Africa, and we asked Rachel to look after our beloved big pit mix, Barkley. Rachel is smart, reliable and professional, immediately knowing how to play with Barkley and keep him entertained. We got photos and videos of him hopping around our place and interacting seamlessly with Rachel. What really set apart Barkley's stay with Rachel was her quick thinking and action when Barkley stepped on a couple of impossible-to-see bee stingers during a walk, triggering an allergic reaction that could have turned deadly had Rachel not rushed him to the vet in minutes. She kept us updated and in the loop at all times, even when we were in transit and without reception. She even took it upon herself to handle the logistics on Barkley's stay at the vet until we regained the ability to communicate consistently. Everyone was in constant communication with the vet, and when we returned home, Rachel did us the courtesy of collecting all the information and medication needed for Barkley, along with instructions. As I write this review, Barkley is sleeping on the couch, resting and happy. Rachel's quick actions are a big reason that's possible. She is a dog guardian of the highest order, and we would absolutely use her again. She's the best.
