Pet care experience
I am a Veterinary Assistant at City Creatures Animal Hospital by day (8+ years) with a lifetimes experience in loving and caring for all types of animals; from fish and rodents, to reptiles, birds, and of course dogs and cats! I am comfortable with all breeds and adaptable to what each pet prefers and requires. I have a degree in Animal Behavior/Ecology/Conservation, am Fear Free Certified, a Certified Cat Friendly Veterinary Professional, and utilize positive reinforcement methods to encourage and reward good behavior. As a pet owner myself, I know how stressful it can be to leave your pets and to find reliable, trustworthy care. So, I would like to not only be that trustworthy and reliable person for you, but also offer the same amount of love, care, play, training, and snuggle time that your beloved fur babies are used to. I live in the Town of Tonawanda and am willing to service most surrounding areas. Monday-Friday I will be present for your pets any hour I am not working, but can always stop to care for your babies on my lunch break. Saturday and Sundays I do not typically work at the hospital so am free for services at any time.

We will keep using Rachel as long as she is available!!!! This is the third time we have used her and she stayed at our place for a week with our fur babies. They had such a good time! We never stressed about a thing! They were happy when we came home but I swear they were looking for her! Lol I would give her 100 stars!
Second time using her and my dogs ran to her and completely forgot I was there! It was easy to leave! She sent updates and snuggle time photos! Love her for loving our doggie babies so much!❤️
As always, Rachel is great with my picky cats and always takes time to engage with them. I highly recommend her.

For boarding in my home: 🏡I have a fully fenced backyard and am adjacent to the rails to trails bike path to allow for plenty of exercise and activity! 🏊♀️ I also have an in-ground saltwater pool that is available in the summer for any avid swimmers, and I can provide life jackets if you would like your pup to swim. The pool is fully gated around so pool access is only under strict allowance and my supervision for short durations on hot days. 🐶I have 3 resident dogs and 5 cats, and while they are all used to a revolving door of boarders it is important that anyone staying must be comfortable staying with other dogs and cats, and can undergo a preliminary meet & greet prior to booking to make sure everyone will be comfortable if needed! 🛌I have 2 spare bedrooms available to be made up for boarding guests if they like some alone time in a homey environment, or I have space to set up crates for those that are crate trained while I am out. Otherwise they are fully integrated into the family and welcome to the couch, beds, dog beds, or wherever their hearts desire. My home is their home while they are here!

I simply ask for a brief synopsis of what your dogs daily routines are, such as normal potty breaks, walks, meals, etc. I would like to mirror their normal day-to-day life with you as much as possible, but of course can always add in additional or longer walks, more play time, or work on training, etc.
A typical day
I would love to maintain as close of a routines your pets are used to; any length walks, play time, cuddle time, etc. My two resident dogs are highly adaptable to our guests, and are typically willing to play long bouts with energetic puppies, or have a snooze fest on the couch for those that prefer a more relaxing staycation.

Availability
I currently work full time during the week, but am a short driving distance to work which makes a mid-day potty break and lunch possible on longer days.
