Animal loving professional adult
Pet care experience
I am a dog rescue mom of two larger breed active pups and have been caring for them since they were young. (now 6 & 7) Before that I had a husky mix that was loved and grew old with my husband and I. I was a volunteer for 2 dog rescue groups, helping with adoption events, obedience training events, and completed home visits for those looking to adopt. I was also a foster mom for several years to many different dogs, a variety of ages & behaviors, puppy litters or adults. I have dog sat many friends and families animals over the last 10 years either in my home or theirs, as well as raised 6 chickens in my backyard:) I am that girl that shares dog photos with everyone, that girl that plans a dog themed birthday party for herself, that girl that reads books out loud to the sick puppies that need to be crated, and more, because animals are a huge importance to me! Additional Skills Oral Medication Administration Experienced with injury recovery -physical therapy and massage techniques Can provide daily exercise
Reviews
We are so glad we booked with Rachel! She sent adorable pictures of our dog's fun long weekend at her house. Our dog is clearly very comfortable around her. Rachel was very prompt with the pick-up/drop-off service we arranged, and was great at communicating throughout our planning and travels. We won't hesitate to book with her again!
Rachel went above + beyond. Pups loved her + we will definitely be reaching out to her in the future!
Our family was lucky enough to have Rachel work as our nanny for the past year. Our entire family-- kids, parents, and curmudgeonly dog-- all LOVED her! She is kind, professional, fun, reliable, a great communicator (with people and animals!), and full of energy and common sense. You will never question the safety of your pet, family, or home when Rachel is around; she is a gem!
Rachel is so great with dogs! She is very in tune with what they need and want and will be a great addition to any dog’s life as a dog sitter or walker.

I am experienced with leash walking, e collar walking and crating dogs. I have 2 active dogs myself so have a great ball throwing and tug playing arm! We have a 3 acre yard (part of it fenced in) I also am used to couch potato dogs that just need my love and pets! I will treat your animals like my own while I’m taking care of them and give you peace of mind while you are away.
Information Rachel T. would like to know about your pet
If your dog has any behavioral concerns it is helpful to know in advance. I am not familiar with special needs dogs, beyond surgery recoveries and oral medications, but I can learn! It is important to me to know how dogs handle walking on a leash, if they are dog friendly or not, people friendly or not, shy, etc. (I have some background in dog training so feel free to ask me questions!)
A typical day
I am used to playing fetch, rope tug and jogging around the yard with dogs! I enjoy walking just about anywhere! For indoor play I have dance parties, stuffed toy romps, training/skill drills and plenty of snuggle time! I work part time so if I am needed for drop ins, walks, boarding in my home or pet sitting in yours I am flexible with schedules!
Services
Rachel can watch in your home
Availability
I currently work part time so I have flexibility that would allow me to walk/feed/play/pet sit. I would love to help other families out by caring for their furry friends!
