I've been house and dog sitting for over 10 years. I provide professional, personalized services depending on client/dog needs. I currently work remotely as a graphic designer with a pretty flexible schedule and would love some company. Travel is a passion of mine, but when in town hiking, biking, and going to all the dog-friendly places are my norm. I am extremely flexible and open to helping out however I can (grabbing mail, watering plants, etc). I currently have a variety of favorite dogs and would love to add yours to the list. We are so glad to have found Rachel through Rover! Our two pups took to her immediately at the first meeting, our usually shy pup greeted Rachel like they were already familiar friends :) the photos Rachel sent were beyond adorable and she was absolutely fantastic about communication while she watched our home and our pups. It is clear Rachel loves dogs and she totally understood their unique personalities within the first day of sitting, which helped us feel so at ease with her watching out furbabies. Our house was also perfectly tidy when we got back. Grateful to have found our sitter, thank you Rachel!!

Always follow the advice and instructions of the owner. Once the pet is comfortable with me I love to just sit and pet the dog so they feel safe. I am a huge cuddler so if the dog loves to cuddle that is an added bonus!

I would like to know if the dogs are aggressive, their routine, how they communicate they need to use the bathroom, if they like other dogs/pets, how long they should be crated - and if they stay over - what their sleeping preferences are.
A typical day
Depending on where you are located - I will be walking the dogs around the neighborhoods - and if there is a near by park - we can run wild (well as wild as a dog can be on a leash!) Depending on the length of the stay and the abilities of the dog - we may even be able to catch a hike or two!

Working remotely allows a lot of flexibility with my schedule. I am a huge fan of walking, so if I can add a furry friend to one of my daily strolls I would love that!
