Hi! My name is Rachel and I am an animal enthusiast. I have always had dogs and cats in my home ever since I was a baby. My first fur baby was a Sheltie named Penelope and I took care of her and loved her with my whole heart. My love for dogs extends into my part-time job as a Veterinary Assistant, and full-time Vet Tech student. My hours of work are long typically 8:00-5:00 so I would only be able to watch mature dogs who can handle long hours home alone. I’ve been asked to take off work to watch someone’s fur babies- please be considerate and do not ask me that, Rover is a side job for me to help people when I am available and to make extra money. Despite my being in school to become a Vet Tech, please do not ask me for medical advice about your baby, please contact his/her Veterinary doctor who knows your baby’s medical history. They are who is ultimately the best choice to help you with any medical advice you see. ****I am not available October 23-26 for I will be out of the state****

Rachel was great with our pup! She was very open, communicative, and willing to be flexible with our pups weird quirks. My wife and I appreciated the updates she would send us throughout the day letting us know how everything was going.
Rachel was a wonderful pet sitter who stayed in my home with my two dogs. She was professional during all our interactions and prompt in our meetings. My pets seemed happy when I returned and the house was clean and secure. I would book again.
Rachel was excellent! I felt totally at ease with her watching my dog and cats while we were away. She provided updates throughout the stay and also did an excellent job in tending to special needs for my dog. It was wonderful to come home to a clean house and happy pets!
Rachel did an excellent job during her time with our two labs. She gave us daily updates and the boys were happy and relaxed when we returned. She is very responsible and we will definitely utilize her services again.

Any rules you may have in your home I will 100% follow. I will not leave your pets alone outside, they will be supervised the entire time- I would not be able to live with myself if they escaped the yard or ate something in the yard. Most of the time on Tuesdays and Thursdays I will be at the house until my classes begin, then I will come home. If you need me to wake up early on workdays to walk your dogs- I can do that! Depending on how close your home is to my job, I can stop by on my lunch break to let them out. I will not have any friends or unwanted guests at the house unless specified otherwise. I will however provide my address to my family so they know my location and if there is an emergency they can find me. Your pets and homes safety is my job! I will not do anything to lose your trust.

I would just like to know if I have to give them any medication in the mornings and evenings, if they need help standing (if their old and their joints don't work like they use to), are ball or toy aggressive, are dog aggressive and are human aggressive. Any food eating preferences, for example if they like a scoop of wet food with their dry food, if they need powered medicine sprinkled onto the food, etc. etc. Any bathing preferences, if they have allergies to any shampoos. Any food allergies, or allergic to metal bowls.
A typical day
I'll take your pups on walks to parks and around the neighborhood. I love a good walk around in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings. If they like to play fetch in the yard I will gladly throw it! Even play fetch for the cats in the home if they like!

Availability
I work Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00a-5:00p, and Saturday from 9:00a-1:00p. I have an hour lunch break for work, if your home is close enough to my job I can stop by and let your baby out for lunch! I can wake up early on workdays to walk your baby around the neighborhood if needed, my evenings will be spent with them. I have class from 4:30p to 7:30p Tuesday and Thursday nights. My days will be spent hanging out with your baby(s) while I work on school work at home. They can be my study buddy. My school and work schedule cannot change to accommodate any sitting needs.
