Pet care experience
I grew up with large dogs and have taken care of dogs all my life! I am a huge dog lover and advocate for positive reinforcement. I worked at a vet clinic in high school where I was a kennel assistant, responsible for walking dogs and providing care for animals post-surgery.

Rachel was great. Our dog Boonie clearly enjoyed her stay and came home tired and calm. Rachel was communicative, sent lots of pictures, and we felt happy knowing Boonie was getting such great care while we were away.

Rachel took great care of our boy Buck while we were out of the country. We appreciated Rachel’s gentle nature and willingness to meet Buck where he was at until he settled in. I have a fully fenced in yard as well as an enclosed 4-season patio to hang out with your pet! Please let me know your dog’s comfort level with being crated or left alone. I will never crate your dog or leave them alone in my house without first confirming with you that it is acceptable.

I will never crate your pet or leave them alone unless I discuss with you in advance and confirm it is appropriate. I do not take dogs to public dog parks, but will let your dog play in my fenced in yard off leash if you agree. Does your dog have any allergies or sensitivities, or is your dog reactive to other dogs, people, or other animals? Does your dog have any “quirks” I should be aware of? Am I allowed to give your dog treats? Are they allowed on furniture in your home?
A typical day
I will happily play fetch, “tag” or chase, walks or jogs, tug of war, or any games your pet enjoys! I am active and enjoy daily walks or runs, and would love your dog to join me if they are able.
