Pet care experience
I adore dogs, and have been an animal lover ever since I was very little. I have 20 years experience caring for dogs and cats. My family have had dogs ever since I was 2 years old. I've always been the main person who cares for the pets in the family. And have lots of experience administering medications orally as well as giving injections. I work as a vet assistant so I'm very familiar with pets medical conditions and there needs. I work shift work full time 5 days a week. Given appropriate notice I can try and accomadate you and your dogs needs. I'm very fit, hard working and reliable. My many years of experience will allow me to be a good fit for your dogs needs

This was my first time using Rover and Rachel definitely made it a positive experience. She regularly updated me and sent me photos which really put me at ease. My dog came back very happy. Would definitely reccomend.
Rachel (and her sweet dog Stella) took amazing care of my lab/golden retriever, Kayley! Rachel was very responsive and flexible and provided great daily updates. It was clear how much love and attention Kayley was getting the entire time and Kayley seemed really happy and comfortable at Rachel’s place when I picked her up :)
Rachel was fantastic throughout the entire process of our planning, from our initial introduction to our final pick up of our dog when we returned from travel. Rachel is incredibly knowledagble of dogs and she was very flexible with times and dates. She sent us photos and updates daily while we were away, and it was clear our dog was receiving so much love, we’re sure she didn’t even get a chance to miss us! We will definitely be asking Rachel to take care of our dog again during future trips.
Rachel took excellent care of my cat while I was away for the long weekend! I think Bao (my cat) was pleased as well as she didn’t seem as mad as usual or hide for as long when I arrived home from my trip. Also, while away, my mind was at ease knowing Rachel works at a vet hospital. If anything were to happen, I know Rachel would offer extra care and attention. Her compassion for animals shines through her work and herself as an individual. I highly recommend Rachel for both dog and cat sitting! If you’re lucky, you might get the chance to meet Rachel’s dog Stella the most friendly sweetheart :)

Id like to know if your dog gets along with other dogs. If he/she is house trained and if they are ok being left alone with my dog for short periods of time while I'm at work. Also there feeding schedules. Are they grazers or do they eat all there food right away (like my dog does) Please note I do require a meet and greet before a booking to ensure its a good fit! And I require that the dog is fully house broken. I have no weight restrictions for the dogs I look after. As much as I like Siberian huskies, samoyeds and border collies unfortunately I can't accept them. I cannot accept raw food but will gladly take dehydrated raw food :) I look forward to hearing from you!
A typical day
I live in an apartment on the main floor so I don't have a yard, however I will take your dog for plenty of walks. At least 3 good walks a day as well as off leash time as long as you are ok with that! My favourite place to go is Kits off leash beach for a swim or a game of fetch. My apartment building is dog friendly so there are lots of friendly dogs for your pup to socialize and play with on there walks. I allow your dog free rein of my apartment. Rest assured that your pup will be pampered with love and plenty of treats (if allowed :) ) Please don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have :)
