I grew up with animals and have had several dogs. My family rescued dogs as I was growing up and I continued to do so after becoming an adult. I have fostered and loved many rescues and love meeting new dogs. I hope to one day be able to afford to run my own rescue and to help more animals. I currently volunteer at a local animal shelter and have been trained to be a level 1 behavioral volunteer. I am working on going up more levels! I have trained all of my own dogs plus some friends' and currently have a dog of my own. My roommate also has a dog that lives with us and I take him to the dog park with us all the time. The dog park is one of my favorite places to go because of all of the friendly people and dogs, it's such a great place for both humans and dogs to socialize.
