Working with animals has always been something fun for me. I have two cats of my own and would have dogs if I had the space. This is why working for Rover is a great fit. I can spend time with dogs and cats in my spare time. I grew up around animals and feel that I have a special connection with them. The elders in my family were all farmers and ranchers so I have spent many years caring for different kinds of animals. My grandmother, too, would feed all the stray cats in the neighborhood and both of my aunts are adept with goats, chickens, horses, geese, cats and dogs. I have had the fortunate luck of growing up with all of this around me. As for pet sitting and walking, I love the independence of this job and enjoy the fresh air of walking and the comfort of taking care of a pet while his or her owner is away.
