Pet care experience
Hey there! I’m Rachel, I’ve cared for dozens of pets throughout the course of my life, both my own and others. I have a beautiful one eyed cat, and a gorgeous Great Dane pup. I have owned varying sizes of dogs ranging from SM-XL. I also have volunteer experience at the local S.P.C.A for over 4 years. Animals are my passion, they bring a smile to my face and indescribable joy to my life. You can enjoy your time away knowing your pet will be well cared for with me around, with my experience and knowledge you will not be let down. Just a few breeds I have experience sitting: American Bully, Boxer, Irish/English/Gordon Setter, German Shepherd, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Fox Terrier, Airedale Terrier, Labrador Retriever, Golden Retriever, Rottweiler and many many more! I’m a big fan of working group breeds, they keep me very occupied and this is the group I would say I have the most experience with.

Rachel did an amazing job looking after our kitty while we were away. She provided awesome updates, including pictures. My daughter looked forward to our notification daily to see how our kitty was doing. Rachel provided great detail and was readily accessible - she even made sure any packages delivered to our step while we were gone were tucked away safely inside. I would recommend her to anyone and we will be using her for all of our pet sitting needs!

Love the Rover app, so happy it’s available here in Newfoundland. Rachel was amazing as per many other reviews. She’s professional, attentive and I felt very comfortable knowing she was checking on my boys.
Rachel is fantastic. She updated me every day and was always available if I reached out. She sent me awesome photos and videos and she went beyond expectations with the walks and play time. I would definitely get Rachel to come back and watch my dog any time. She’s the best!

I offer daycare (1 dog per day along with my own dog), drop in, and house sitting services. I enjoy taking care of pets and my schedule is very accommodating to this, my focus will always be on your pet and giving them the best experience possible 😊 Although not certified in pet first aid (yet), I have been instructed on how to perform pet CPR, I also have my own vehicle (SUV) for situations that would require transport. *Please note that any dogs attending doggy daycare must be crate trained in order to provide sufficient breaks for the dogs during the day, and in case of emergency.

A typical day
I love to care for a pets need individually. A description cannot be written for my pet sitting since I like to judge case by case based on your recommendations and needs. If your dog/cat is high energy, I can do that, if they want to chill out at home, I’m fine with that too! I love to learn about the dynamic in your home to cause a stress free transition from your care-to mine.
