Pet care experience
I have been working at dog kennels since the time I was 14 years old. I am an experienced dog sitter and graduated from Ohio State with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, with an animal biosciences specialization. Your pets would be in great hands, as I am educated, well experienced and love all animals! During my undergraduate experience I learned various training techniques for puppies and how to care for senior dogs (I have a soft spot for senior dogs having lost mine to old age a few years back). At OSU, I was in an organization that helped train puppies to become service animals. I am also well equipped to administer medications. Beyond professional care, I have a nephew pup of my own who I absolutely adore and share responsibility with my sister in our apartment.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Rachel. It is amazing to find someone willing to take my cat on daily walks. She is loving and attentive. A true gem.
Rachel watched my cat Truman. She did a wonderful job. She gave him attention. She kept in contact with me, by sending me photos. My home was in perfect order when I returned.
Rachel went above and beyond to gain our reactive dog’s trust. She made sure he was comfortable and met with him before hand. She sends updates and within minutes our dog loved her.
We are so happy we found Rachel to watch our little guy while we were out of town for a wedding. Buddy ran happily to Rachel at their first meeting. Our dog has diabetes and requires insulin injections; which Rachel was able to administer. Rachel is sweet, competent and reliable!

A typical day
In addition to daily walks and potty walks, there are many dog parks close by. If your dog is pet friendly, I will happily let them run off leash at one of the fenced in dog parks!

I am a full-time graduate student, so my schedule is always changing. At the moment, I am in class four days a week (Monday-Thursday). Please just reach out and I will let you know the times in which I can provide care those days!
