Hi, my name is Rachel. I am a recent graduate from the University of West Georgia. I am a dog mom to a Pitbull Boxer mix named Apollo. He was a rescue from the Carrollton Animal Shelter. Being a dog parent, I completely understand how hard it can be to find someone to help when your dog needs to be taken care of, and that is why I decided to join Rover. I have spent most of my life surrounded by dogs. In 2020, my boyfriend and I actually fostered a friend's dog for a month, which is what inspired us to adopt Apollo. Apollo gets along very well with other dogs, and I would love to help out pet sitting when I can. Please view my portfolio for photos of Apollo, and other dogs I have worked with in the past. I always look up my sitters on Facebook so I wanted to make it easy for you to do the same. Currently I have had to change my services as we are in an apartment that does not allow other dogs to come stay. My husband & I are looking to buy a house soon so hopefully I can bring back that service soon!

Rachel is the absolute best. She’s watched our dog on several occasions, sometimes when we need her last minute, and she’s always available to help out. She’s punctual, trustworthy, and makes it to where I don’t have to worry at all about Coopers care and wellbeing when she’s with him. Cannot recommend her enough!!
Rachel is absolutely amazing with our babies!! We have two dogs, a cat, and a fish. She loves and takes care of each and every one! She leaves great updates and pics and has no problem doing anything your babies need! I am so grateful we found her!! And will continue to always use Rachel for our animals!!

I am able to stop by your home multiple times a day and take care of your babies. I will also be happy to give them the exercise they need. IMPORTANT RATE INFO: Rover automatically charges PER PET. I do not typically charge this way, but rather by time. If a pet is especially high maintenance in a multi-pet home I MAY charge the double rate, but under normal circumstances I do not. Please message me for any concerns about this as the Rover price will be very inflated before I am able to go in and adjust it. IMPORTANT BOOKING INFO: I do require a meet in greet with ALL clients before confirming a booking. This is to ensure I get specific instructions from you as well as ensuring that we are all a good fit before the actual sitting starts. I do not charge for the initial visit. Please let me know if you have any questions about this. I know occasionally an emergency may arise and I am happy to evaluate on a case by case basis if something out of the ordinary comes up.

I would like to be sure that the dog I am sitting will get along well with other dogs. I have a dog of my own, so I would love for them to be able to play together. If they can't I would be okay with that, I would just need to be made aware so that I do not bring Apollo around.
A typical day
Lots of walks!! My favorite walking spot is Gold Dust Park in Villa Rica but I also like Little Tallapoosa Park and the Green Belt in Carrollton. I am also open to other outdoor activities!
