Pet care experience
I grew up in a house with dogs, cats, and rabbits and now have a cat of my own. I have been pet sitting for family and friends since I was a teenager. I have been sitting for Rover for about 6 years now, and loved every minute of it! I have cared for pretty much every size age and type of dog and cat. I commute on the L daily, so locations off the L train or in Murray Hill/Bushwick are easy for me to come to. Unfortunately, my current apartment does not allow dogs so I can't sit dogs at my own place, but I have tons of love left over for your pup! Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions!

Rachel was an amazing sitter for our little kitty, Theo, while we were away. The moment we met her, we could tell she was a true animal lover and Theo warmed up to her right away. She was an amazing communicator throughout the process and sent us lots of pictures of Theo at every visit. We came back to a happy kitty cat. We would love to have her look after Theo again!
Rachel checked-in on my cat (Georgia) while I was out of town for a long weekend. I was able to rest easy knowing that she was being looked after by a someone who is responsible and caring. Based on the pictures Rachel sent, it looked like they even had some fun playtime!

A typical day
I love to run, so if your dog has a lot of energy I will be happy to run around and play with them! I know some dogs have problems with running (my family's last dog had bad knees, so although she tried, she couldn't run very much), so if your dog needs to take it slow I can do that as well. :)

I am a graduate student working in Kips Bay during the day, so I am available for drop ins in that area most any time of day, or in Bushwick where I live/along the L train in Brooklyn in the mornings/evenings.
