Hello, I’m Rachel and all my life I’ve loved all animals. Dogs bring me so much joy. Every time I see one, I can’t help but smile! I am here to give your dog the attention and fun they need, so they can be distracted from missing you while you’re away. Think of me as a surrogate parent, or a second best friend. I’m happy looking after all kinds of dogs. If they’re high energy we’ll spend a lot of time exploring and exercising. If they’re more low key, I’ll give them all the belly rubs they want! I tailor each dog’s stay to their personality and usual routine--everyone gets a custom experience because every dog is so unique! I’ve looked after all kinds of dogs, from tiny teacups to massive great danes, so I have firsthand knowledge of how unique each dog is--and not just in size! Dogs and their owners love me because I am friendly, nice, and fun! (Basically, I try to be like a dog). I also have a lifelong love of animals. I’m Vegan, and make sure to live my life in a way that honors other creatures, I don’t use products tested on animals and I stay away from chemicals that can hurt the environment. I live in Westwood with my two dog loving roommates, and we’re all so excited to make you and your dog’s acquaintance. I work part-time and have a very flexible schedule in the medical field. I always try and move my work around to accommodate pet owners. I always listen to the pet owners with their personal rules to keep pets safe and within their routines. At their homes I respect their space and make sure the pets do as well while their owners are away and at my home I treat them the same as the owners would.
