I used to work at an animal shelter handling and adopting out all kinds of dogs. I've worked with every size and age, tons of different breeds (including pitbulls/staffies, shepherds, labs, heelers, huskies, hounds, collies, chihuahuas, poodles, terriers, etc.), sick dogs, and dogs with special needs (three-legged, blind, deaf, no teeth, timid, aggressive, etc.). I have experience cleaning up every kind of mess, checking for ticks/fleas, giving medication, house training puppies and adults, and recognizing signs of distress or illness. I have fostered puppies and have two lovely big dogs myself (a lab and a heeler) that I'm living away from at the moment. I recently moved to East Palo Alto, and my pups are still with my folks in another state. So I am looking forward to spending time with and providing care for some local pups while assisting other animal lovers!
