UPDATE: I have moved to Portland, OR and am now accepting new clients ❤️ Hey Pet-Parents, Thank you for taking the time to check out my page and services. I currently live in North Arvada with my partner and roommates. Also residing with me (yet not paying any rent) are Mary Jane and Lucy, our sweet four legged babies. Lucy is my girl that is a shih tzu/ brussels griffon mix; I’ve had her since I was 19 and she is one of the best parts of my life! Due to Lucy preferring to not interact (she has Mary Jane trained!) and my roommates, I am not able to provide services in my home. Providing care to furbabies is my favorite, as I find it to be therapeutic reprieve from my busy life. I am not from CO (surprise!), yet moved here in September 2017 to be with my hunk of burnin’ love. I’m a Southern gal who grew up on a farm in South Carolina and then spent many of my adult years in/around Asheville, NC. I have cared for and loved animals both strange and familiar for many years. I have built an awesome base of “word of mouth” clients in the Denver Metro area, this calls for me not staying too busy on Rover. My personal fees are a bit different (lower) than those offered on Rover, as Rover takes 20% of earnings. Should you wish to chat more on that matter in person- lets do it! I love to pretend I have more “babies” by watching other pups. I often hear “wow, doggie doesn’t normally take to people like that”...”you just let them slobber all over you”..”most people are intimidated by dogs size and you reached in their happy mouth to retrieve a toy”... if only I didn’t have roommates , your pup and every stray in Denver would be welcome for a visit. Let’s face it though, some pets do not take to me. I’ve observed this to be due to their longing for their human to come home. In these instances I give the pet some space without overbearing cuddles. ( I also adore cats.) I’m not afraid to administer dog meds nor am I afraid to shoot water up the noses of fighting dogs (best trick for separation). Dog parks are okay by me if you’re into that sort of thing (as are hikes). My lovely photos are of my dog & dogs I’ve cared for...roughly 40% of my Instagram profile, ha!

Rachel is trustworthy and very attentive. She's helped us multiple times with our two bullies mix rescue pups, one of which is usually anxious we the new ppl, but loves Rachel. She is always on time and gives the pups the very best care -- I knew my dogs will be well cared for with her, and she goes above and beyond to provide good customer service.
Rachel was great with my high energy goofy escape artist hound dog. She took him for runs, spoiled him with snuggles, and sent me pictures/updates to ease my anxiety. I would highly recommend her, Popeye and I were sad to see her go from Asheville.
There’s no one else I’d trust more with my pup. Rachel is caring, compassionate and makes sure my Daisy has everything she needs. I feel better going out of town knowing Rachel will be looking after her. 100% would recommend.
