Loves animals and genuine care!
Pet care experience
I have been taking care of dogs of various breeds since I was about 11 years old, but I've had my previous dogs for 13 years helping to take care of them. This was for my neighbors, friends, family, and they have relied on me to feed, walk, and provide companionship for their pets. I treat these dogs as if they were my own and fill their home and environment with so much love and care to ease their anxiety.
Reviews
Very nice, communicated very well and was good with my dog. Would recommend.
Rachel is great she loves our boy just as much as we love him!
Rachel was such a big help when I needed a drop in visit on short notice!
Rachel was super friendly and responsive, took very cute pics to keep us updated and most importantly our dog loved her immediately and judging from the photos that stuck even when we were gone (impressive since she’s a little skittish). Really impressed with her overall

Safety, trust & environment
I had two doggies of my own at home who recently passed, but I have lots of experience with older dogs and giving oral medication own, but with this I strictly focusing on my client’s needs. I have two leashes already and poop bags that I can use but am also willing to use whatever materials the client has as well. I offer lots of companionship and words/hugs of encouragement with whichever pet I am caring for to ensure they feel safe and can trust me.
Information Rachel M. would like to know about your pet
I have never worked with special needs dogs or performed dog CPR, but I have taken care of small injuries until I can take the dog to vet ahead of time (with the location of the desired vet). I would like to know if the dog has anxiety, has certain eating conditions, any other special circumstances that would make the dog more comfortable and to care for them well.
A typical day
I love to stimulate dogs physically and mentally with play time, little mind games (such as finding the treat), and lots of walks! I usually try to stay within the neighborhood I am in but also like to go to local parks if I can!
Services
Rachel can watch in your home
Availability
I’m currently working full time with Rover, but in July I will be primarily offering dog walking and drop ins since I am moving here!
